I decide from this moment now to rise
And welcome each day with a smile :)
For I know it will keep me agile
To delight myself and the people
I meet in this world all day!

Sunny, rainy, stormy or the skies be clear
I will greet'em all alike with happiness;
Ego, hatred, jealousy and fear
My heart will never let'em near
For only if I master my emotions
Can I greet people all day with cheer

Puzzle, game, lesson, technique or a trick;
A book, a friend, a boss or the world wide web
No matter what & from where, brick by brick
I will learn and SHARE at least one a day
To delight myself and
the lovely people in this world

Time is eternity, life is a journey
Folks who said these live no more
neither do I have the master key
to walk through the eternal door
Procrastinate I must not, for if I do
I will neither delight myself nor
the wonderful people in this world.

To win, I don't need a high Intel. quotient
I may fail but I will try and try again
Persist, persevere and I will be patient
until I succeed, reach my goal and gain
To delight myself and
the beautiful people in this world

I will neither let my past shame
nor my dreams of future fame
affect the now, this moment of Joy
I will cherish each minute of today
I will delight myself and
the fabulous people in this world.
I will live this day as it were my last
For I know, one day it will be!

I have not attempted to write poetry here or let the words sound rhyming. This truly is the philosophy of Getting to delight - Join the movement - to delight NOW!
A friend of mine from school, Kartik Iyer who founded Happy Creative Services (India) Pvt. Ltd., www.thinkhappy.biz/ sent me this video which was one of Happy's first creations for Thermal and a Quarter, a popular Indian rock band. I was so overwhelmed when I saw the video , that I called him to find out if I could add it to my blog or website and he generously agreed. Not just beacuse I liked it but it depicts getting to delight philosophy in many ways.
I believe it's a masterpiece, simple with a deep meaning of life. Sit back, enjoy and play whenever you want a boost . Keep Smiling :)
