Ramprabhu (25 years) hailing from a poor family at Dharmapuri and the only male child to his parents was suffering from chronic renal failure for over 3 years and was in need of financial help for transplantation of kidney from his donor mother.

Ramprabhu (I call him Prabhu) also completed his graduation (BA, Economics) from the University of Madras and was looking forward to a life ahead to work and support his family. He had secured 55% in his graduation despite his severe condition.

Through the support of fantastic friends and relatives, a considerable amount of money was raised towards the surgery. Even though the cost of surgery and medicines was much higher, Dr. R. VijayKumar who runs the Kaliappa Renal Center at Billroth hospitals in Chennai known for his benevolence generously agreed to perform the surgery. He also supports patients for medicines through charitable trusts. The surgery was performed on the 5th of May 2008.

Today, Prabhu is back to normal life doing very well for himself and his family. Thank you everyone!

It is true that your Self-esteem goes up when you help someone who cannot return the favor in Cash or Kind. I share every bit of happiness from this Success story with my friends and family.
